YEA Camp

We are a collection of experienced activists, credentialed teachers, and community leaders committed to a world in which people, animals, and the planet are treated with respect, and where both youth and adults are empowered to take action to express what matters most to them.

We know that youth have the power to impact their schools, their communities and beyond, and we want to help make this happen!

At the end of the day, the safety of our participants is our top priority, and we take our in loco parentis responsiblity very seriously.  We run full criminal background checks on all of our staff. Each one of our amazing staff members has a proven track record of working successfully with youth.

Our director, Nora Kramer, has worked as a camp director or senior staff at 3 different summer camps over the years to learn the best practices of established camps. She has also done the intensive Basic Camp Director Course through the  American Camp Association. She is certified in nonviolent conflict resolution  with youth through the Help Increase the Peace Program.

YEA has fiscal sponsorship as a 501(c)3 non-profit through Youth for Environmental Sanity, an inspiring non-profit organization that connects, inspires and collaborates with young changemakers to join forces for a thriving, just and sustainable ways of life for all.
